D CEO announces Presidium as finalists for ‘Real Estate Executive of the Year’ and ‘Best New Multifamily Project’ in the annual Commercial Real Estate Awards
Presidium, a diversified real estate development, investment and management firm, has been recognized by D CEO’s inaugural Commercial Real Estate Awards. The firm’s Co-CEO John Griggs was recognized as a finalist for ‘Real Estate Executive of the Year,’ while their luxury age-restricted senior living community Presidium at Edgestone was also named a finalist among the ‘Best New Multifamily Project’ designation. The D CEO awards program honors the region’s top projects, transactions, dealmakers and industry executives driving activity in 2020.
“When founding Presidium, it was important to myself and my business partner, Cross Moceri, that we capitalize on Presidium’s mission to inspire, educate and engage with not only our employees, but the communities in which we serve. Receiving both of these honors is recognition of our company as a whole. It is a reflection of the great group of people who I’ve been lucky to surround myself with, and my family who always supports and challenges me,” said John Griggs, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Presidium.
Presidium at Edgestone is the only luxury age-restricted senior living community with freestanding independent living cottages to be developed in the City of Frisco, Texas. Designed by Cross Architects and conveniently located near more than $8-billion worth of commercial and retail developments, including The Star and Plano’s burgeoning Legacy West, the approximately 18-acre gated community carefully balances the needs of today’s seniors who desire an active, maintenance-free lifestyle.
Since its founding in 2003, Presidium has grown from a two-man operation to almost 250 team members with corporate offices in both Dallas and Austin, Texas. The firm has over 80 assets under management, valued in excess of $2.5 billion.
Presidium prides itself on creating a community that’s about more than concrete sidewalks or asphalt parking lots. It’s about creating a place where people can live, work and play in an enriched environment that has a positive impact on the surrounding area.
