Multifamily Leadership recognized Presidium on the prestigious national best places to work multifamily for women list for 2021
Presidium, a diversified real estate development, investment and management firm, has been recognized by Multifamily Leadership for the second year in a row as one of the top 35 ‘Best Places to Work in Multifamily for Women’ in the nation. This distinguished list serves as the voice of the employees in the apartment industry reaching beyond membership and trade organizations.
“The real estate industry, which employs more than 11 million people nationwide, is male dominated. Less than 10% of those in this industry are women,” said Lindsay Colbert, Chief Operating Officer of Presidium. “Presidium fosters an unmatched environment for women to succeed in regards to teamwork, leadership and dedication. The list is based on data gathered from the research conducted through the national Best Places to Work Multifamily® program. In order to qualify for recognition, participating firms must have a workforce that is at least 25% female and a response rate of at least 40%. The top companies were determined by the percent of positive female responses, largest to smallest.
The Best Places to Work in Multifamily® competition demonstrates the industry’s focus on people, while illustrating its overall potential— as it contributes more than 3.4 trillion-dollars annually to the U.S. economy and supports more than 17.5 million jobs.
